These pellets were produced from 100% post-industrial film scrap sourced This is a polymer alloy of EVOH and LDPE/LLDPE, with Compatibilser and Antioxidant. The EVOH component is accurately controlled to 2.8% by volume. The Alloy is produced in small batch lots and a sample from each batch is quality control test extruded on a small blown film line. Only batches whose film samples contain low gel counts and no voids are released for sale.
They can be used at up to 100% in blown film applications and may also be injection moulded at 100% in thick wall articles. They can also be blended with LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE in any proportion.
Physical Properties: Density: 0.93 g/cc MFI: 0.4
Processing Conditions: Extrusion Temperature: 200°C or lower if possible. At extrusion temperatures greater than 200°C the EVOH component of them is prone to degradation. They is mildly hygroscopic and over time will absorb up to 0.23% moisture by weight.
Food Contact Compliance: They are not suitable for food contact applications.
